Jennings, Mary B. "Marilee" (26 May 1938 - 4 July 2009)

Mary B. "Marilee" Jennings, 71, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident May 28, 2009.

Marilee was born May 26, 2938, in Flint, MI. She graduated from the Elk Rapids High School in Elk Rapids, MI. She married Kenneth Jennings in October of 1958 and together they raised four daughters.  Marilee operated a tax business for several years out of the family farm.  She later moved to Mesa, AZ, and then to Dixon, MO.  Marilee recently moved to Greenwood in November 2008 to be closer to her family.  She was currently employed at the Neillsville School District as an aide, where she enjoyed working with the children.  Marilee always enjoyed helping people, reading, crocheting and riding horses.

She is survived by her four children, Kendra (Rick Thomas) Jennings of Byron, IL, Jonell (Michael) Jensen of Malta, IL, Terryle Shaner of Unity and Julie (Tim) Dallman of Greenwood; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margie (Bob) Gotts of Madison, IN, and Janet Draper of Newport News, VA.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the Living Hope Evangelical Free Church, 7 Fairground Avenue, Neillsville, with Reverend Steve Wentz officiating.  Marilee had been a member since moving back into the area.
