Cornell, Robert D. #2 (1945? - 26 FEB 1952)

 

Robert Dean Cornell, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cornell, route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who died of a heart condition Tuesday night, Feb. 26th, 1952, was buried Saturday afternoon, March 1st.  Funeral services were conducted from Griebenow’s Funeral Home at two o’clock with Rev. Arthur Meinhardt officiating.  Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were Ronald Nichols, James and Rodney Potocnik and Eldon Hamm.

 

Robert Dean had been out of school and confined to his home for a couple of days with the flu which weakened him physically and causing additional strain to his ailing heart.  Robert was in the first grade of Forest Grove School.

 

Surviving him are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cornell, both grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Cornell, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hughes, a great-grandmother, Mrs. Rose McElhose, three sisters, Johanna, Rose and Gene, and five brothers, Roger, Billy, Orville, Patrick and Larry.
