Hansen, Adeline C. (Marriage - 27 Nov. 1952)

Now making their home in Milwaukee are Mr. and Mrs. Dennis M. Zobrack, who were married on the morning of Thanksgiving day in St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, by the Rev. Frank Brickl.

The bride is the former Adeline C. Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Hansen, Colby, and the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Zobrack, reside in Abbotsford, Wis.

An all lace gown designed with a fitted bodice that closed down the front, with self covered buttons and long, tapering sleeves, and a stand-up collar was worn by the bride. Her full skirt extended in a long train and her short veil which was trimmed with lace, was secured to a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried an arrangement of white chrysanthemums and mixed yellow mums.

The maid of honor, Marcella M. Hansen, Milwaukee, sister of the bride, wore a gold satin formal and a sweetheart bonnet. Mixed chrysanthemums formed her bouquet.

Delores Hansen, Colby, and Karen Hansen, Minneapolis, two other sisters of the bride, were attired in American beauty and forest green satin gowns, respectively. Each carried an arrangement of chrysanthemums.

Attending the groom were Donald Zobrack, Abbotsford, a brother of the groom, as best man, and Marlyn Sommers, as groomsman.

Guests were ushered to their places in church by Albert Weix, Colby, Wis.

Ann Chaplinski, Gilman, in a light blue gown, carried a basket of yellow mums, when she filled the role of flower girl.

A dinner for relatives was served in St. Mary’s gymnasium where a reception was also held. Approximately 125 guests were in attendance.

The bride, a graduate of the Colby high school, also took training at Marquette University, Milwaukee, as a dental assistant. The groom graduated from the Abbotsford high school.

Guests at the wedding were from Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Thorp, Gilman, Spencer, and Boyd.
