Zieman, Edna (Marriage - 18 Apr. 1953)  
 

Now making their home on a farm in the town of Hull are Mr. and Mrs. John A. Stettler, who were married at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the First Evangelical and Reformed church, at Colby, by the Rev. John Grether, Neillsville.  
 

The bride is the former Edna Zieman, daughter of Mrs. Theresa Zieman, Abbotsford, and the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Stettler, reside in Colby, Wis. 
 

For her wedding, the bride wore a cocoa brown suit with blue and white accessories and a shoulder corsage of red and white roses.  
 

Mrs. George Weller, Colby, a sister of the groom, was the bride’s only attendant. As matron of honor, Mrs. Weller wore a gray suit with white accessories and a corsage of red and white roses and orange blossoms.  
 

The best man was Lawrence Stettler, Colby, brother of the groom.  
 

Miss Annabelle Klaar, soloist, sang "O Promise Me" and "O Perfect Love," accompanied by Miss Rena Bauer.  
 

A wedding supper was served at the George Weller home for members of the immediate families. That evening, a wedding dance was held in Colby, Wis.  
 

The bride is a graduate of the Thorp high school, and the groom of the Colby high school. 
 

Out of town friends and relatives at the wedding were from Fountain City, Cochraine, Marshfield, Fond du Lac, Abbotsford, and Medford.
