Miss Evelyn Carl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Carl, and Robert Mitte, all of Neillsville, repeated their nuptial vows at 2:30 o’clock at the Pine Valley Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 28.  The Rev. Aalto of the Lutheran church of Loyal performed the double-ring ceremony. The church was artistically decorated with baskets of cut flowers and candelabras.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose a gown of traditional white satin with nylon net.  Her fingertip veil fell from a white sating lace and pearl trimmed hat. Stephanotis surrounded the white orchid she carried on a white Bible.

Maid of honor was Marjorie Carl of Greenwood, a cousin of he bride.  Florence Mite, sister of the groom was her bridesmaid. They were attired in identical gowns of green and coral, respectively, and were fashioned of lace and net over taffeta. They wore matching hats and carried white lace baskets of mixed flowers.

Barbara Struble, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Struble, as flower girl, was dressed in a gown of yellow similar to the bridesmaids.  She wore yellow carnations in her hair and carried a basket of mixed flowers.

Franklin Mitte acted as his brother’s best man, and Larry Carl, a cousin of the bride of Nekoosa, was the other attendant.  DuWayne Carl, Greenwood, and Johnny Hemp of La Crosse ushered.  Mrs. Kenneth Karnitz played the wedding march.

A wedding reception for 100 guests was held at the Legion Memorial Hall on Saturday evening.  The young couple left on Monday for a wedding trip in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. After July 5 they will be at home at 928 North 15th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
