Richard and Peggy Rau, Dorchester, announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Rau to Eric Karr, son of Arnold and Jan Karr, Akron, MI.   
 

Stephanie is a 2000 graduate of Colby High School and a 2004 graduate of Winona State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing.  She currently lives in Lake Oswego, OR and works as an obstetrics registered nurse at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.   
 

Eric is a 1999 graduate of Unionville Sebewaing Area High School and a 2004 graduate of Michigan Technological University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He currently lives in Hood River, OR and is currently employed at Mitsubishi as the account manager of the heavy duty division.   
 

A July 24, 2009 wedding is being planned.
