Marsh, Melissa (Marriage - December 20, 2008) 
 

Melissa Marsh, Lake Panasaffkee, FL, and John Akins, Mt. Dora, FL, were united in marriage December 20, 2008, at First Baptist Church, Lake Panasoffee.   
 

Attendants were Megan Guareno, sister of the bride, and Brandon Abrehamsen, nephew of the groom.   
 

Ring bearer was Clayten Guareno, nephew of the bride.   
 

The bride was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, John Gavarina.   
 

Melissa is the daughter of Linda Marsh and the late William Marsh.   
 

John is the son of Stan and Elaine Akins, Groveland, FL, and the grandson of Mildred Hanne, Abbotsford, Wis.  
 

John graduated from Abbotsford High School in 1988.   
 

After a two week honeymoon to St. Augustine Beach, Gatlinburg and Dollywood, TN; and the Smokey Mountains, NC, the couple are at home in Lake Panasaffkee, FL.
