Tischendorf, Jimmy Wayne "Merkle" (August 29, 1955 - July 31, 2009)   
 

Jimmy Wayne "Merkle" Tischendorf, age 53, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Dorchester, on July 28, 2009.  
 

He was born on August 29, 1955, to Donald and Dolores (Andreae) Tischendorf in Marshfield.   
 

He graduated from Colby High School in 1973.   
 

He found purpose and accomplishment as a carpenter. He enjoyed dirt track racing, boating, and helping others with various projects.   
 

He is survived by his mother, Dolores; and four siblings, Peggy (Mark) Young, Tucson, AZ, Paul (Bonnie) Tischendorf, Mandeville, LA, Chris (Jay ) Gerbert, Eau Claire and Roger (Laura) Tischendorf, Dorchester, Wis.   
 

He is preceded in death by his father Donald. 

 
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 31, at 2:00 p.m. at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford, Wis. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will preside.  
 

Visiting will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on the day of service at the funeral home.

 
Maurina Schilling Funeral Home, Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.
