Augustine, Lucille #2 (10 MAY 1952)

 

Miss Lucille Augustine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Augustine, route 2, Colby, and Isadore J. Umlauft, nephew of Mrs. Amelia Kadonsky, Abbotsford, were united in marriage during a nuptial ceremony performed at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 1952, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Green Grove.  The Rev. Paul Dietz was officiating clergyman.

 

For her wedding, the bride selected a white satin gown featuring a lace scalloped collar, lace paneled front, long pointed sleeves, and a full skirt that extended into a long train.  A fingertip veil fell from a heart shaped hat and she carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations.  Mrs. Arthur Schultz, Colby, the bride’s sister, as matron of honor, wore an orchid satin gown designed with a lace cape.  Her corsage was of yellow carnations.

 

The bridesmaids, Mrs. Elroy Augustine, sister-in-law of the bride, and Mrs. George Kadonsky, the groom’s cousin, were attired in pink and blue satin gowns respectively.  Each wore a matching hat and wore a corsage of carnations.

 

The flower girls were Judith and Myrna anna Augustine, who were attired in white satin dresses.   Each carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations.

 

Arthur Schultz, the bride’s brother-in-law, was best man, and Elroy Augustine, the bride’s brother, and George Kadonsky, the groom’s cousin, were groomsmen.

 

The bride’s mother was attired in a dark green crepe street-length dress with orchid accessories, a nd the groom’s aunt, in a navy blue faille frock with lilac accessories.  Each had a corsage of pink and white carnations.

 

Dinner and supper were served in the Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) Hall.

 

The bride, who attended school in the Cloverdale and Atwood schools, is employed in Marshfield by Dr. R. L. Oettiker.  The groom, who attended the Dorchester High School, is employed at the Rollohome Trailer Coach Co., Marshfield.

 

The couple are making their home in Marshfield.

 

Out of town relatives and friends at the services included Mr. and Mrs. Max Schubert, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Augustine and family and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Burkhardt, Thorp; Mrs. Anna Umlauft and son, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Oehlert and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Juedes and family, Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Umlauft and family and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Riegert and family, Stetsonville; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Iverson, Oconomowoc; Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Odegard and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Markson, Eau Claire; Ernest Augustine, St. Paul, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Louis Taki and family, Gene Ridderbusch, Lorrie Pinter, and Clyde Schultz, Abbotsford; Raymond and Melvin Mohan, Unity, Wis.
