Kluve, Helga #3 (6 MAY 1885 - 1 JUN 1952)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Helga Hanson Kluve, 67, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), who died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Sunday evening, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Curtiss.

 

The Rev. O.K. Odland officiated, burial was made in the parish cemetery.

 

Mrs. Kluve, nee Helga Hanson, was born in Curtiss on May 6, 1885.  She received her education in the Curtiss Public School and spent her entire life in that community, the last 13 years on the farm of her parents in Mayville, one mile northeast of the village.

 

She was married to Aguust Kluve on Dec. 28, 1906.  He preceded her in death on April 16, 1917.

 

Mrs. Kluve is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Leota) Cheviette, Milwaukee; Mrs. Clarence (Eunice) Streit, Menomonie Falls; Mrs. George (Marion) Murphy, Cutiss; and Juanita Kluve, who is home from Algeria, Africa, where she is a missionary.  One son, Archie, lives in Curtiss.  A son, Elmer, preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1917.

 

Other survivors include two grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Emma Sanness, and a brother, Ole Hanson, both of Owen.

 

Mrs. Kluve was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society of that church.
