Riechling, Mary F. (11 JUN 1952)

A forest green tailored suit accented with white accessories was worn by Miss Mary Frances Riechling when she became the bride of Robert Louis Carol, greenwood during a double ring ceremony performed at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 1952, in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee with the Rev. Walter Schedler officiating.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Riechling, Darlington, carried a Bible.  White gladioli and lilies of the valley formed her corsage.

The groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin R. Carl, reside in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.)

The couple’s only attendants were the groom’s cousin, Miss Florence, as maid of honor, wore a green suit with tan accessories, and his brother, DuWayne Carl, Greenwood, as best man.

Miss Carl was attired in a Kelly green suit with tan accessories and a corsage of peach colored gladioli and lilies of the valley.

A dinner was served at Miru Steakhouse at Owen to members of the wedding party.

The bride is a graduate of the Darlington High School and Stout Institute, Menomonie, and is a member of the Greenwood High faculty.  The groom is a graduate of the Greenwood High School and served three years in the U.S. Army.  He is now employed by the City of Greenwood.

When they return from a week’s honeymoon trip  in northern Wisconsin and other points of interest about the state they will make their home in Greenwood.
