Miller, Nora #2 (26 AUG 1899 - 16 JUL 1952)

 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 19, for Mrs. Fred Miller, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), who passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, on July 16th, 1952.  Services were conducted from the church at Green Grove with Rev. Paul Dietz officiating.  Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

 

Serving as pallbearers were Les Jens, Riley Newman, Bob Pflum, Orland Lulloff, Jim Glinski and John Glinski.  In charge of the floral offerings were Paulette Kersten, Valerie Meyer, Terry Jens, Janice Harding, Nancy Glinski, Jackie Braem, Patty Harding, Margy Harding and Bonnie Harding.

 

During the service Bernice Miller sang "God of My Life" and "Nearer My God to Thee."  She was accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Paul Woik.

 

Mrs. Fred Miller, nee Nora Harding, was born on Aug. 26, 1899 at Town Rock in Wood County and was 52 years of age at the time of her death.  On Aug. 26, 1920 she was united in marriage to Fred Miller in a ceremony performed at Marshfield.  Later they moved to a farm in the Town of green Grove where they reside until six years ago when they moved to the village of Curtiss.  Last fall they built a new home on a parcel of land they owned in the Town of Green Grove where they have since resided.  She was a member of the Green Grove Ladies Aid and served as its president in 1941 and 1942.

 

Mourning her death are her husband, four brothers, Edward of chili; Vern of Bango; Donald, St. Paul, Minn. And Hal of Marshfield; and four sisters, Mrs. Roman (Cora) Pflum, Mrs. Louis (Dorothy) Harry, Mrs. Louis (Liela) Glinski and Mrs. Fritz (Lila) Braem, all of Marshfield.
