Hiebsch, Lois C. (5 AUG 1952)

Miss Lois Carrol Hiebsch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hiebsch, and J. Stanley Greschner, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Greschner Sr., all of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage during a nuptial service Tuesday morning in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Owen.  The Rev. Hubert Crubal was the officiating clergyman.

The bride wore a gown of white lace over taffeta featuring a standup collar and long pointed sleeves.  The full skirt extend into a cathedral train and her fingertip veil with a hand rolled hem, was attached to a Juliet cap embroidered with seed pearls.  She carried a bouquet of rubrum lilies and lilies of the valley centered with an orchid.

Attending the bride was her sister, Mrs. Herbert Lehnen, as maid of honor.  Another sister, Dorothy Hiebsch, Owen, Miss Sharon Gregory, Loyal, and a cousin of the bride, Caroline Irlbeck, Weyauwega, were bridesmaids.

All were gowned in dresses styled like the matron of honor’s in orchid and the bridesmaids in mint green net over taffeta designed with lace bodices featuring an off the shoulder effect and full skirts.  Matching capes, headbands, and gauntlets completed their ensembles and each carried white, orchid and purple asters framed by a lace doilie.

John Greshner Jr., Owen, a brother of the groom, was best man, and Herbert Lehnen, Owen, brother-in-law of the bride, Arthur Gregory, Loyal, and Eugene Irlbeck, Weyauwega, a cousin of the bride, were groomsmen.

Jerry Hiebsch, brother of the bride, and John Bonczyk Jr., Owen, were ushers.

A breakfast and dinner were served in the church basement where the couple greeted guests at a reception.

The bride is a graduate of Owen High School and the groom of Withee High School.

When the couple returns from a honeymoon to Wis. Dells and Northern Wisconsin they will reside on the groom’s farm near Owen.
