(Maiden name of bride was never mentioned in this article, so we used the married name)

Now making their home in Withee are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ruggles who were joined in wedlock in a ceremony at Owen on Aug. 27, 1952.  The couple repeated the nuptial vows before immediate members of the family after Rev. H. D. Wagner at 8 p.m. in the Alliance Chapel parsonage.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. James Ruggles as best man and matron of honor.

Mrs. Ruggles wore an attractive red suit with black accessories and a corsage of white carnations.  Her matron of honor wore a blue suit with white accessories and a similar corsage.

After the ceremony the couple received many friends at a reception given at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rasmussen in the Town of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride is a graduate of the Withee High School and is employed as a stenographer at the Griebenow Co., in Owen.  Mr. Ruggles is the son of Walter Ruggles, Owen, also a graduate of the Withee High School, and is employed as a mechanic at the Altenburg Auto Co., in Withee.
