Son of THS Alumni State Champion in High Jump  
 

Collin Taylor, son of Christine Jensen, Thorp High School Alumni Class of 1979, was awarded the title of 2009 State Champion in the high jump this year. Collin, who attended Brookfield East in Brookfield, Wisconsin, was a three-time conference champion for track in three varsity seasons, setting a new school record for the high jump at 6’ 10".  He was also a contributor to four conference team championships in his years competing for Brookfield East.  Collin will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the fall, where he plans on participating in the track and field program and studying Business Finance.
