Melhus, Andree (Marriage - 8 Mar. 1952) 
 

Miss Andree Melhus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Melhus, Eau Claire, became the bride of James Vetter, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Vetter, Abbotsford, in a double ring ceremony performed at the parish house at St. Patrick’s church, Eau Claire, Saturday, March 8.  
 

The Very Rev. J. Francis Brady read the rites at 10:00 o’clock. 
 

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a light blue suit with navy blue accessories. Her corsage was formed of orchids and orange blossoms.  
 

Miss Cleone Vitek, Eau Claire, serving as the bride’s attendant, wore a navy blue suit. Her accessories were of light blue and she pinned a corsage of pink carnations to her costume. 
 

Roger De Rusha, Eau Claire, attended the bridegroom. 
 

Following the ceremony, guests were received in the Commercial Hotel at 11:00 o’clock. The bride’s mother wore a purple suit with orchid accessories.  
 

The bridegroom’s mother chose an ensemble of navy blue. Their corsages were white carnations.  
 

Following a wedding trip to Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Vetter will make their home at 809 Main Street, Eau Claire.  
 

Mr. Vetter graduated from Abbotsford high school, after which he attended Eau Claire State College for a year. He is employed at the National Pressure Cooker Company. Mrs. Vetter is employed at Johnson Studios.  
 

Attending the wedding from here were Mr. and Mrs. Vetter and Tom, and Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Dolan and Mary.
