Pachal, Alice (06 JAN 1946)

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Pachal, newlyweds, have returned from their two-week wedding trip and are now at home on the farm of the groom’s grandfather, near Neillsville. Their wedding trip took them to Milwaukee, Chicago, Kewaunee and elsewhere in eastern Wisconsin.

Miss Alice Pachal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pachal of Loyal, became the bride of Alvin Lavene, son of Mrs. Hattie Forman of Neillsville, in a double ring ceremony performed in St. Matthew’s parsonage at Marshfield at 2 p.m. on Jan.  6. The service was read by the Rev. James Behrens.

The bride was attired in a gold dressmaker suit, with brown accessories, and wore a shoulder bouquet of red roses.

Mrs. Edwin Langfeldt, sister of the bride, as matron of honor, was attired in an olive green dressmaker suit and wore black accessories. Miss Virginia Langfeldt, niece of the bride, as bridesmaid, was attired in a fuschia dressmaker suit and wore black accessories. Both wore shoulder corsages of yellow roses. The matron of honor and bridesmaid are mother and daughter.

Edwin Langfeldt served as best man and James Hallowell as groomsman. The groom and his attendants wore white carnations.

A wedding supper was served to 38 immediate relatives and friends at the home of the bride’s parents. A three layer wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom centered the bride’s table. The room was decorated with white, pink and blue streamers. In the evening a shower and wedding dance was held at Longwood.

The bride is a graduate of the Loyal high school, class of 1943.

To the newlyweds, The Loyal Tribune, extends its wishes for happiness.
