Albert Eldridge has so far recovered from an operation performed last April, as to get back in the country last Saturday.

 

L. M. Sturdevant sold the old homestead last Tuesday to Mr. Hoyt of Lake Mills. Consideration $6,000.00.

 

Wm Stoffell and C. E. Austin harvested black berries near Tioga last Friday.

 

Miss Bessie Frantz is visiting at Day.

 

A large attendance and a jolly time at the social held at Mrs. Horton's, last Friday evening.

 

The school house in District No. 1, is being moved to a more central location.

 

Miss Alberto Neff started last Monday for Oshkosh to attend Normal School.

 

A social will be held at the residence of Mrs. S. E. Hutchings Friday evening, Sept. 7. Everyone is invited.

 

S. M. Marsh drove through Day last Sunday sight seeing.

 

T. C. Wage has purchased a house and lot in Neillsville and moved into the same.

 

Albert and Otto Raether started last Saturday with their threshing outfit for Humbird.

 

Mrs. Otto Beck left for Madison last Tuesday.

 

Masters Eugene and Guldo Ulbreicht returned home to Milwaukee last Friday.

 

Wilber Tooley has discarded the bike for a buggy--bike only carries one, See?

 

T. M. Scranton left last Saturday for Chicago to attend G. A. R. reunion.
