Capelle, Dorothy (25 JUN 1954)

 

Now residing in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) in the apartment above the Gable Store are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Herdrick who were united in marriage at a lovely church ceremony performed in Loyal on June 25th, 1954.

 

The couple exchanged the nuptial vows before the altar of Trinity Lutheran Church at two o’clock before Rev. E. aalto.

 

For the occasion the bride chose a waltz length gown of Chantilly lace over satin designed with a double Peter Pan collar and long pointed sleeves.  Her fingertip veil was edged with pearls.  She carried a brial bouquet of pink roses and lilies of the valley.

 

Ada Capelle, her sister, attended her as maid of honor, wearing a blue waltz length gown of nylon tulle over taffeta having lace inserts in the skirt and accented with a mandarin collar.  Her bouquet consisted of pink roses and white carnations.

 

Attending the bridegroom as best man was his brother, Harold Herdrick.

 

Ronnie Greeler, Neillsville and Fritz Heckendorf of Spencer served as ushers.

 

During the ceremony Mrs. Joe Voight rendered two vocal solos, "O Perfect Love" and "The Lord’s Prayer."  She was accompanied at the organ by Rachelle Lautenbach.

 

The bride’s mother viewed the ceremony wearing a powder blue dress with matching accessories and wore a shoulder corsage of red and white carnations while the bridegroom’s mother was attired in a dress of navy blue with matching accessories and also wore a shoulder corsage of red and white carnations.

 

Mrs. Herdrick is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Capelle of Loyal (Clark Co.).  She is graduate of the Loyal school system prior to her marriage was employed at McCain and Johnson’s Store in Marshfield.

 

Mr. Herdrick is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Reno Herdrick of Loyal, and is also a graduate of the Loyal school system.  For the past year he has been employed at Griebenow’s Store in Owen.

 

Following the ceremony the couple received guests from Sheboygan, Marshfield, Eau Claire, Neillsville, Spencer, Bloomer, Sheboygan Falls and St. Paul, at a reception held at the home of the bride’s parents.
