Perry, Mr./Mrs. Orrin (50th Anniv. - 2 Jan. 1955) 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Perry were honored on the 50th anniversary of their marriage at an open house at the Grange hall, at West Plainfield on Sunday, Jan. 2, with many relatives and friends attending. 
 

Bouquets of yellow mums and chrysanthemums decorated the hall and the tables were decorated with gold doilies and white and gold candles. The reception table was centered with a four tier gold cake decorated with white roses and gold trim, and topped with the same miniature bride and groom ornament that was used on their first wedding cake. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Perry were united in marriage on Jan. 1, 1905, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bound, in Plainfield by the Rev. R. D. Sparks. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Urban, who were present for the celebration. Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Urban are sisters. She was the former Charlotte Bound. Mr. Perry is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Witt Perry. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Perry are the parents of two daughters, Mrs. S. C. (Ruth) McClellan, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Roger (Evelyn) Fiebig, La Crosse. They have four grand children. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Perry made their home at Abbotsford for 38 years and at Owen for nine years. He was fireman for four years on the Soo Line Railroad and engineer for 44 years. The couple moved to Hancock in 1947 where they have made their home since. 
 

Mr. Perry is a member of the Masonic lodge and a life member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Mrs. Perry is a member of the Eastern Star lodge.
