Beaver, Evelyn  (29 JUNE 1946)


Miss Evelyn Beaver of Eau Claire, daughter of Mrs. Kathryn Beaver of Loyal, became the bride of Oscar Fricke of Eau Claire, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Fricke of Loyal, in a wedding ceremony read in St. Patrick’s Catholic church ay Eau Claire at 8 o’clock Saturday morning, June 29. The Rev. Thomas Hayden officiated at the nuptial high mass.


The bride was attires in a gold gabardine suit, with which she wore white accessories and a shoulder cordage of sweet peas and white roses. She carried a white prayerbook.


Both of her attendants, Mrs. William Lock of Watkins, Minn., sister of the groom and Miss Elaine Knudtson, wore brown suits and white accessories. Yellow roses were pinned to their shoulders.


Mr. Lock and Gilbert Beaver, a brother of the bride, attended the groom.


Breakfast and dinner were served to the immediate relatives and friends at Eau Claire, while supper at the home of the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Degenhardt, here.


The couple will live in Eau Claire where the bridegroom is employed by the National Pressure Cooker Co.


The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
