Mortensen, Raymond (24 JUN 1920 - 8 FEB 1954)

 

Raymond Mortensen, 33, of Sheboygan, Wis., passed away Monday, Feb. 8th, 1954 at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital after an illness of several months.

 

He was born on June 24, 1920 in the township of Worden, Clark Co.  He went to Sheboygan in 1941 where he was united in marriage to Wilma Hinz on Nov. 1st, 1947.

 

Mr. Mortensen was an employee of General Box Co. of Sheboygan for the past four years until the time of his illness.  He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

 

Survivors are his wife, one son, Kenneth  at home, his mother, Mrs. Charlest Mortensen, Stanley, Wis., one sister, Mrs. George (Marie) Badman, Chippewa Falls, three brothers, Alvin, Longview, Wash.; Willard, Stanley, and Arnold of Sheboygan.  His father preceded him in death.

 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Nickels’ Funeral Home, Sheboygan, with Don Herman, Vicar of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church officiating.  Burial took place in the Wildwood Cemetery.
