Miss Lois Zimmerman of Markesan, became the bride of Frederick William Kieser, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Kieser, of Abbotsford, in an evening ceremony, performed Saturday, Aug. 10, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran church in Manchester. The Rev. Albrecht officiated at the rites.

For her wedding, the bride, a daughter of Mrs. Frank Zimmerman, Ripon, and Markesan, chose a gown of champagne Chantilly lace over taffeta. It was styled with a Sabrina neckline, short sleeves and fitted bodice with a cummerbund at the waist. The long skirt was straight, with bouffant back panels. Her elbow length veil cascaded from a tiara set with pearls and rhinestones and she wore lace gauntlets and pearl earrings completed her attire. She carried a white Bible which was mounted with an orchid.

Attendants included the bride’s cousin, Mrs. William B. Low, of Oshkosh, as matron of honor, Miss Marilyn Kieser, Abbotsford and Mrs. Jeffrey Key, Ripon, as bridesmaids; Donald Kieser, Athens, as best man; Dennis Kieser, Abbotsford, and Jeffrey Key, Ripon, ushers. The bridal aides wore aqua dresses styled similarly to the bride’s, in street length and they carried bouquets of bronze mums. Their accessories included white shoes and gloves, head dresses, and pearl chokers with matching earrings. The jewelry was a gift of the bride.

After the church ceremony, the couple greeted guests at a reception held at the Bel Air at Green Lake and they went to Canada on a honeymoon.

The bride is a graduate of Ripon College where she was affiliated with Pi Tau Pi and Pi Delta Epsilon sororities and is a member of the Medford school faculty. Mr. Kieser was graduated from Abbotsford high school and is a civilian employee of the National Guard in Eau Claire.
