County News

 

Reseberg Township 

 

Three babies were christened at the German Lutheran church last Sunday. The parents of these were Caeser Barth and wife, Ernest Fetterkind and wife and Wm Buss and wife.

 

George Rosin of Colby, visited friends at Reseberg last Sunday.

 

Bert Ruscher and Nora Fellows of Eidsvold, made R. B. Brown and wife a visit last Sunday.

 

Wm. Buss and wife gave a party in honor of the christening of his child Sunday afternoon and evening to his relatives and neighbors.

 

We understand that Phillip Mattis contemplates selling his saloon and buying a farm, as he thinks farming will agree with his health better than saloonkeeping.

 

Frank Telford has rented his farm to J. Colby for three years.

 

Mary Pagle has been on the sick list for the past few days.

 

Chris Derby drilled a sixty-four foot well for Peter Deforth the past week.

 

Henry Linderman has rented his farm to Mr. Walsdorph, and will live in Thorp in the future.

 

Herman Buss raised a log barn on his farm last Thursday.

 

The school at the corners is doing nicely, and everyone seems well satisfied with the present teacher, Oliver McKee. He has been very successful as a teacher, remaining from one to two years in each school where he has hitherto been employed.

 

Fred Reitz of Abbotsford, made a political speech at the Reseberg hall Saturday night, which was well attended, considering the weather.
