Dudei, Mr. and Mrs. Bruno (Golden - 2 December 1953) 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Dudei of Rte. 3 Granton, quietly observed their golden wedding anniversary at their home Wednesday, their formal observance having been held September 6, when all their children were able to get together with them. 
 

The Dudeis were married December 2, 1903, in Zion Lutheran Church, Granton.  They purchased 80 acres of land, which comprises their present farm, in 1915 and built all the buildings.  A few years ago they purchased an additional 40 acres.  The farm now is operated by the oldest son, Harold.  
 

Mr. Dudei, 79, was born in Schlesien, Germany, in 1874, and attended schools there.  He came to America at the age of 14 and settled in Clark County.  Mrs. Dudei, 75, is the former Anna Goebel.  She was born in Clark County and attended local schools. 
 

At their September celebration all four children born to them were present, as were the four grandchildren of the Dudeis: Mr. and Mrs. George Beyer and two sons, Ralph and Earl, of Milwaukee; Miss Eunice Seefeld, Milwaukee; Mrs. Sophie Matthews and son, Allen, Milwaukee; and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Dudei and daughter, Susan, Milwaukee.  
 

Also attending from Milwaukee and vicinity were Mrs. William Graeser, a sister of Mrs. Dudei, and Joseph Lutz, a nephew, and his wife.  
 

From Neillsville were: Mr. and Mrs. Gust Deutsch, brother-in-law and sister; Mrs. Anna Hemp; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hemp; and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Hemp and daughter, Lorraine. 
 

Guests from Granton were: Mr. and Mrs. Paul Goebel, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kurth and family; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Goebel and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Garbisch and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wischuelke, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Moldenhauer, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Krause, Jr. and family, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Krause, Mr. and Mrs. James Quicker, Rev. John Jacklin, Mrs. Jacklin and daughter, Doris.  
 

Also present were: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hemp and family of Mosinee, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hillert of Greenwood.
