Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Marcus, 50, who was found dead in her apartment, Sunday evening, were held at 10:00 o’clock Wednesday morning, at the Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield. The Rev. J. H. Harrington, supply pastor at the Apostolic church, officiated at the services. Internment was made in Hillside cemetery.

Mrs. Marcus, who had been employed as a nurse at the Medford Clinic, was found dead about 8:00 o’clock Sunday evening, in her apartment in the Fred Toelle house on Butternut Street. An autopsy was performed to determine the cause of death.

Mrs. Toelle had spoken to Mrs. Marcus late Saturday afternoon to invite her to Sunday dinner. When she failed to show up, Mrs. Toelle asked a neighbor to accompany her to the apartment.
