Schade, Margaret (25 May 1888 - 20 May 1958) 
 

Funeral services are being held this afternoon for Mrs. Richard A. Schade, 69, who died at 2:20 Tuesday morning at her home, after a prolonged illness. The body will lie in state at Christ Lutheran church, starting at noon. The services will begin at 2:00 o’clock and will be conducted by the Rev. F. H. Sprengler. Burial will be made in the Abbotsford cemetery. 
 

Mrs. Schade was born Margaret Feala in the town of Holton, May 25, 1888 and attended the Bruckerville school. On Sept. 24, 1908, she was married to Richard A. Schade in Dorchester. For a few years they lived at Park Falls where Mr. Schade worked in a saw mill. Then they came to a farm in the town of Holton.  
 

About 11 years ago, they moved to Abbotsford. 
 

Mrs. Schade was a member of the Lutheran Ladies’ Aid, the Auxiliary to the American Legion, Hanson-Terrio Post No. 139, the Abbotsford Woman’s Club and the Bruckerville Women’s Club. 
 

She is survived by her husband, sons, Ernest, Abbotsford; and Clarence R., Wausau. There are three grand children: Wayne, Patricia and Elaine Schade, all of Abbotsford.  
 

Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Ed Feala and Mrs. Ed Beyreis, Abbotsford; John Feala, Chicago; and Mrs. J. T. Flynn, Ashland. 
 

One son, Lester, preceded her in death.

Relatives and friends from away who attended the funeral of Mrs. Richard Schade, Thursday, came from Chicago, Waukesha, Madison, Ashland, Neillsville, Stanley, Park Falls, Wausau, Owen and Colby. 
 

The rites were held at Christ Lutheran church at 2:00 o’clock Thursday afternoon, at which the Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated. During the services the Misses Dorothy and Marilyn Kieser sang, "Abide With Me," and "Jesus, Saviour, Pilot Me." Internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery. 
 

Pallbearers were George Empey, Al Goldamer, Ole Hanson, Gust Liepke, Harry Olson and Paul Tesmer. 
 

Mrs. Schade, who was 69 years old, died May 20, after a long illness.
