Ludwig, Carol R. (Marriage - 8 Nov. 1958)

Mr. and Mrs. James Peissig are making their home on a farm near Curtiss. Their marriage took place Saturday.

Miss Carol R. Ludwig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ludwig, of Dorchester, and James Peissig, son of Mrs. Opal Peissig of Curtiss, exchanged marriage vows in an 11:00 o’clock ceremony at St. Louis’ Catholic church at Dorchester with the Rev. Gerald Schuh officiating.

The bride, who was presented in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of hand clipped Chantilly lace and sheer nylon tulle over slipper satin. An overskirt of lace fell over a skirt of ruffled tulle. A tiara outlined with seed pearls and embroidered with iridescent sequins held the silk illusion veil. Red roses and white chrysanthemums were combined in a cascade arrangement for the bridal bouquet.

Miss Jane Peissig, the groom’s sister, and Miss Dorothy Schopper, the bride’s attendants, wore satin and nylon gowns of shrimp colored organza.

Attending the groom were Ronald Ludwig, as best man, and Duane Ludwig. Ushers were Ronald Weix and Dale Thompson.

A reception was held at the Club House in Dorchester and dinner was served at St. Louis’ hall.
