Edwards, Lorraine  (30 AUG 1946)

 

The marriage of Mrs. Lorraine Edwards and Charles H. Hills took place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30 in the parsonage of Cargill Memorial Methodist church at Janesville. The Rev. I. E. Schlagenhauf officiated at the ceremony.

 

That evening a reception was held at the home of the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Pamperin in Milwaukee. The couple then left for Abbotsford, where they were entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hills, brother and sister-in-la of the groom.

 

On Monday a reception was held there, and the following guests attended. Mrs. George Schoch, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hills and family and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hills of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Coates and family of Endeavor, and Eldon Hill and Jean Larkin of Madison.

 

Te groom was discharged with the rank of sergeant, after serving in the army for three years, of which time 31 months were spent overseas. He is now employed in the parts and service division of General Motors Inc., at Janesville.

 

The couple will reside at 222 South Main street, Janesville.

 

The Loyal Tribune joins with their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
