Bruley, Maude (Nov 23, 1911)

Miss Maude Bruley of this city and Mr. Phil Griffin of Marshfield were married at Milwaukee last Thursday.  They left Marshfield in company with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gordon, sister and brother-in-law of the groom, and went to the home of the bride’s aunt in Milwaukee, and were married the next day.  Mr. and Mrs. Griffin are now at home at Marshfield where they expect to take up housekeeping in a short time.  The marriage came as a complete surprise to the friends of the young people, but they have the best wishes of all for their future happiness and welfare.  The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Bruley and is a social favorite in this city.  Mr. Griffin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Griffin of Marshfield and is favorably known in that city.  He has many acquaintances in this city also.
