Keefe, Morris (13 May 1910 - 18 April 1956) 
 

Funeral services for Moriss Keefe, 45, of Neillsville, R 3, were conducted Saturday Morning at the St. John’s Baptist Church in Edgar.  The Rev. Oscar Kramer officiated.  Burial was in the Edgar Cemetery.  
 

Mr. Keefe, a former resident of Edgar and Colby, died Wednesday morning in Neillsville.  He had been ill for the past two months. 
 

He was born May 13, 1910, at Edgar and grew to manhood there. The last two years he had been connected with a tavern north of Neillsville.  A World War II veteran, he was a member of the V. F. W. post in Colby. 
 

Surviving is a son, Patrick, who is stationed with the Marines in California; his former wife, Wanda Keefe; three brothers, Harold Keefe, Shorewood, Martin Keefe, Wausau, and Henry Keefe, Edgar; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Doner of Ludington, Mich., and Mrs. Henry Gellendin of Menomonee Falls.
