Hartson, Wellen G. (? - September 1957)   
 

Funeral services were conducted September 11, for Wellen G. Hartson, from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Albert Guthmiller officiated.  Burial was made in the Greenwood cemetery. 
 

Pallbearers were: Charles Barr, John A. Mattson, Albert Sollberger, Roy E. Olson, Carl Stabnow and Perry Volk.  Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Ernest H. Snyder, Mrs. Glen Robinson, Mrs. Emer Robinson and Mrs. Frank Svetlik. 
 

Wilfred Galstad, soloist sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Rock of Ages".  Members of the Neillsville, Loyal and Greenwood Masonic lodges conducted Masonic rites. 
 

People from out of town attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Allen Wuethrich, Mrs. Vera Wuethrich, Carl Stabnow, Mrs. Otto Schwarze, Truman B. Hill, William c. Steiger, Harry Liebzeit, Erwin Leach, G. K. Hoehne, Clifton Fonstad and John Meng, all of Greenwood; Len Kolstad and High A. McCausland, Chippewa Falls; Myrtle Hall, Eau Claire; Floyd E. Winn, Granton; Perry Volk, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Brackett, Washburn; Mr. and Mrs. A. Nicison, Blue Island, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Higgins, Albuquerque, N. M.; Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Jardine, New Virginia, Ia.; and Mrs. Ella McGinnis, Arlington, Va.
