Hoeft, Arlene (Marriage - 12 October 1957)

The Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church at Granton was the scene for the marriage Saturday of Miss Arlene Hoeft of Milwaukee and Ervin "Doc" Anderegg of Loyal.  The Rev. Arthur A. Oswald, pastor, performed the double ring ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoeft of Granton and the son of Jake Anderegg of Rt. 2, Loyal.  Mrs. Clarence Pannier played the organ during the entire ceremony.

The bride was attired in an azure blue lace over taffeta dress that featured a very full skirt.  The fitted bodice was topped with a rounded front neckline with a v-shaped back.  Beige accessories completed her bridal ensemble.  A corsage of red roses, outlined with white hearts, was pinned to her shoulder-line.

Miss Marie Hoeft attended her aunt as bridesmaid.  She wore a grey and white chrome spun taffeta dress with a full skirt, that was trimmed with a large black velvet bow at the waistline.  She wore black accessories and a red carnation corsage.  The groom was attended by Marvin Anderegg of Rockford, Ill.

Immediately following the ceremony the ladies Aid served a ham dinner to 40 members of the immediate families.

A dance and shower was held at the village hall in the evening.  Following the dance a luncheon was served at the home of the bride’s sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Drescher, on Pleasant Ridge.

On their return from a wedding trip to the southern states, Mr. and Mrs. Anderegg will reside on the groom’s farm on Rt. 2, Loyal.

Relatives here for the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Anderegg, Janesville; Marvin Anderegg, Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. John Sladek, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Percy Zickert, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Jacobi, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Anderegg and Marlene, Jake Anderegg, Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Bartsch and sons, all of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Hoeft and family Green Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoeft and family, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Lepori and family, Loyal; Mrs. Otillia Hoeft, Frank Hoeft, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Drescher, Neillsville.
