Funeral services for John Pasek, 67, who died in Neillsville Saturday, were held Tuesday in Alma Center. Mr. Pasek came to America 35 years ago from Poland, locating on a farm in Dewhurst Township, Clark County, in the Bruce Mound area.  He had retired from farming and his son, Joseph, was operating the farm.  He is (the balance was cut off).

Pasek, John (1890? – 22 February 1958)

John Pasek, 68, Merrillan, died Saturday, Feb. 22, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Langlois-Galston Funeral Home in Black River Falls and at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Alma Center, with burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Alma Center. Friends were asked to call Monday afternoon and evening at the funeral home. A rosary was to be said at 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Mr. Pasek and his wife came to the United States from Poland 36 years ago and settled on a farm in the Bruce Mound area near Merrillan.

Mr. Pasek is survived by his wife, Nellie; three daughters, Mrs. Al (Lottie) Bianchetto, Milwaukee, Mrs. Robert (Martha) Longwitz, Waukesha, and Clara at home; one son, Joseph, at home and five grandchildren. One daughter, Helen preceded him in death in 1927.
