Putz, Frank (13 November 1887 - 4 March 1958) 
 

The Rev. Joseph Eisenmann read a requiem high mass Saturday morning for Frank Putz, 70, who died March 4 in Eau Claire. Burial was made in the Parish Cemetery. 
 

Mr. Putz was born November 13, 1887, in Germany, son of the late John and Karoline (Kinninger) Putz.  When he was a small boy he came with his family to the United States and located in Chicago. 
 

In 1893 they moved to Clark County, settling on a farm in the Town of Hewett. He had been a farmer all his life, and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  He never married. 
 

He is survived by a brother, John Putz of the Town of Hewett.   
 

Pallbearers were: Leslie Cook, Henry Langreck, Ward Lockman, Robert Opelt, George Poertner and William Sollberger. 
 

People from out of town attending the service included Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lange, Chicago, Ill. 
 

The Bergemann Funeral Home made the funeral arrangements.
