Krom, Morris (1876? - 3 JUL 1955)
Morris Krom, 79, a resident of the Owen and Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) communities for more than 45 years, succumbed to a lingering illness on July 3rd, 1955. He passed quietly away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been patient since last Thursday. However, he had been in and out of the hospital for treatment several times during the past year.
Funeral services were held at Wausau Wednesday, July 6, and burial made in Memorial Cemetery at Wausau.
He is survived by two brothers, A. J. Krom of Chicago and Joseph of Los Angeles, Calif.
He was associated with his brother, the late Louis Krom, in a men’s furnishing store in Owen, but in 1910 he sold his interest in the partnership to devote his time to the livestock business.
