Service Oversight (1958)

Capt. Delbert C. Struble, Commanding Officer

SVC Co. 128th Inf. Regt. Wis. N. G. Armory

149 East 4th Street, Neillsville, Wisconsin

Dear Captain Struble:

It has been brought to my attention that your Unit of the National Guard was not cited in the General Orders of the Day commending several Guard Units for their alert and efficient actions following the recent tornado disaster of Northern Wisconsin.

Please extend to your men my regrets that this oversight, which was beyond my control, occurred, and my assurances that their willing and unselfish efforts are recognized and appreciated both by the people of Wisconsin and myself.

With every best wish for the future to you and the men of the Service Company of the 128th Infantry Regiment,

Sincerely yours,

Vernon W. Thomson, Governor
