Pflughoeft, Betty (Marriage - 23 August 1958)

The Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church in Neillsville was the scene Saturday of the marriage of Miss Betty Pflughoeft and Donald Aumann of Milwaukee. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Albert Guthmiller at 3:30 p.m. before an altar decked with baskets of mixed gladioli.  The pews of the church were decorated with white bows.

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pflughoeft of Rt. 3, Neillsville, are parents of the bride.  Mr. Aumann is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Aumann of Rt. 2, Neillsville.

Sequins trimmed the neckline of the bride’s floor length Chantilly lace gown.  Her fingertip veil cascaded from a crown of jeweled sequins.  Her bridal bouquet consisted of red roses and ivy with white streamers.  She was given in marriage by her father.

Mrs. David Pietenpol was her sister’s matron of honor.  Another sister, Patricia Pflughoeft, was her bridesmaid. Both attendants wore identical gowns of whie ruffled nylon net and lace, with lace jackets.  Both wore jeweled crowns.

A brother of the groom, Marvin Aumann of Loyal, was best man.  Donald Pflughoeft, a brother of the bride, served as groomsman.  Charles Aumann, cousin of the groom, and Fred Vornholt, cousin of the bride, ushered.

Mrs. John Kleckner and Mrs. Ellis Wall, soloists, accompanied by Mrs. Jack Grether at the organ, furnished the music.

Following the ceremony, a reception for 100 guests was held at the home of the bride’s parents on Rt. 3.

On their return from an undisclosed wedding trip the couple will reside in Milwaukee, where both are employed.
