Rhea, A.O. (Political notes - 1912)

A.O. Rhea of Thorp is a probable candidate for the republican nomination for Assemblyman, and it is possible that his formal announcement will be made within a few days.  There is but one regret to express in case that Mr. Rhea comes out, that it will mean that Hon. Fred Draper will persist in his determination not to be a candidate again for the office.  Mr. Rhea has excellent qualifications for the office and there is no doubt but that he would represent Clark county in an entirely satisfactory manner.

It is rumored that several farmers and friends of E.E. Crosby are preparing to circulate nomination papers and place his name on the republican ticker for the nomination for district attorney.
