Murphy, Marion #2 (17 MAR 1956)

Evangelical Lutheran Church, Curtiss, was the scene of the marriage of Marion Murphy, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) to Walter Lipprandt, also of Curtiss, at four o’clock Saturday afternoon.  The Rev. Max Wilhelm officiated at the ceremony.

The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Kluve, chose a navy blue crepe dress with light blue accessories enhanced with a shoulder corsage of red rosebuds and white swansonia.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Herman Lipprandt, Curtiss.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Bruchert of Withee.  Mrs. Bruchert wore a light blue crepe dress with navy blue accessories and wore a shoulder corsage of pink rosebuds and white carnations.

The bridegroom and his best man wore conventional business suits of tan and dark green respectively.

At six o’clock the couple received more than 200 guests at a reception and dinner served in the village hall at Curtiss.  The attractive and colorful bridal table had a three-tier wedding cake serving as its centerpiece with occasional bouquets of yellow jonquils and purple asters.

The couple will make their home at the Curtiss corners where they own and operate a tavern.

Among the out of town guests attending the ceremony were relatives and friends from Chippewa Falls, Gilman, Menomonie Falls, Milwaukee, Hilbert, Colby, Withee and Owen.
