Basara, Emily (2 April 1919 - 11 September 1969) 
 

Mrs. Edward (Emily) Basara, 50, of Chicago died September 11, 1969 at Franklin Blvd. Hospital, Chicago. 
 

She was born April 2, 1919 in Jackson County to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Novak and was married on September 2, 1939 to Edward Basara, who survives.  For a few years in the 1950s they lived near Merrillan and still own their home there. 
 

She is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Sandra) Pack, Chicago and Mrs. Peter (Shirley) Werdermann, Wildwood, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Anna) Wroblewski, Chicago and Mrs. Milton (Lillian) Kramer, Skokie, Ill.; one brother, Rudolph (Dolores) Novak, Merrillan, and three grandchildren. 
 

She was preceded in death by her parents and 6 brothers and sisters in infancy. 
 

Services were held Monday, September 15, at the Georgas Funeral Home, Neillsville, with Rev. D. E. Sprague officiating.  Burial was made in the Hatfield Cemetery.
