Hug, Marilyn (28 FEB 1948)

Miss Marilyn Hug, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hug of Medford, became the bride of George V. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Anderson, of the town of York, at the Methodist-Congregational church in Medford Saturday evening, Feb. 28, with the Rev. Henry J. Holverson officiating.

The bride chose for her wedding a tailored gabardine suit in winter white and pink accessories. A white orchid corsage was pinned to her shoulder.

Miss Bernice Amacher of Medford, as maid of honor, wore a copper colored gabardine suit and green accessories, and she wore a corsage of white roses. Paul Bartelll Jr of Neillsville attended the groom.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents for members of the immediate families. Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Hug of Loyal were among those who attended the wedding.

The bride, a graduate of the Medford high school, attended the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Anderson, after graduating from the Granton high school, attended the University of Wisconsin and is now a student at the Wisconsin Institute of Technology in Plattevile. They will reside at 222 North Elm street, Platteville.

To the newlyweds, the Loyal Tribune extends its wishes for a long and happy married life.
