Hull, Wallace (27 SEP 1883 - 6 JUL 1957)

 

Wallace Hull passed away at his home in Marathon Co. on July 6th, 1957 at 11:00 o’clock in the evening after a lingering illness.  He was born in Colby on the 27th of September 1883.  He was united in marriage to Orpha Eisenbise on March 23, 1910, at Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).  To this union were born two daughters and five sons.

 

He lived in Owen and vicinity and worked for the Owen Box and Crating Co., until his retirement in 1950.  He moved to his present farm in Marathon County in the year of 1954.

 

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Orpha Hull and two daughters, Mrs. George (Alta) Lund of Eau Claire, and Mrs. Donald (Orpha) Marshall of Thorp, and Bruce of Stratford, rural route 2, and 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, one brother, Roy of Sheboygan, a sister, Mrs. Laura Peterson of Milwaukee, and a host of friends.

 

Services were held on Wednesday, July 10th at 1:30 o’clock in the afternoon at the Congregational Church, Owen, with Rev. Ralph Claybaugh officiating.  Pallbearers were Ray Dearth, Ray Purgett, Stanley Bartosiak, Harold Frey, Charles Thorne, and Charles Stein.  In charge of the flowers were Amelia and Helen Darth, Eleanor Purgett, Phoebe Bartosiak, Harriet Frey and Bernice Thorne.  Interment was made at the Riverside Cemetery.
