Brown, Edward (abt 1888 - 6 Jun 1913)

Edward Brown died last Friday in a Chicago hospital.  He had lately undergone an operation for appendicitis but pneumonia set in and death resulted.  He was born to Herman Brown and wife at London, Wis., and was 25 years of age.  He came with his parents to Clark County at the age of about one year and had made his home here for practically all his life.  He was united in marriage to Lillian Treska on Aug. 14, 1912 and he and his wife removed to Chicago where he took a position.  He is survived by his wife and a two-week old baby.  The funeral was held Sunday and was attended by the deceased’s mother, Mrs. Perdelwitz, his brother, Ernest Brown and wife, sisters Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Keller, and Mr. Perdelwitz.

Mr. Brown was a young man who had attained and retained the respect of all who knew him.  He was an industrious and capable young man and his future life had promised to be one of comfort and pleasure to himself and family.  That his death should come in the prime of young manhood is a matter of very sincere grief to all his friends.
