Mrs. J.W. Lynch and Mrs. Seegar are at Marshfield visiting a sister and having a family reunion.

 

Melchour Hosely received a fine young purebred Holstein bull and heifer Tuesday from Minnesota.

 

Monday evening relatives and friends of Jos. Meyer gave him a pleasant surprise in honor of his birthday.

 

Henry Klinert and wife of North Dakota arrived here Tuesday to visit with Sylvester Pease and wife in town York.

 

John Richardson and wife returned Saturday from a visit at Chatfield, Minn.  Mr. Richardson’s mother returned with them to spend a few weeks.  They were also accompanied by Wm. Popelka and wife who will make a brief visit.

 

Miss Britton of Sparta spent Tuesday with Miss Katie Prock.

 

Mrs. Clara Miller of Fond u Lac is visiting Mrs. Chas. Stevens.

 

Mrs. John Charles returned Tuesday from her visit at Chicago.

 

A. Masters of Chicago is visiting his brother, L.G., for a few days.

 

James Ure went to Spring Valley Friday where he has employment.

 

Mrs. Lida Cobb of Chicago is visiting her nieces, the Misses Cannon.

 

Mrs. D. McTaggart was taken to Marshfield Tuesday for treatment at the hospital there.

 

Mrs. V.R. Raymond of Wenatchee, Wash., is here for a visit with her brother, Jos. Butler, and family.

 

Mrs. Mary MacMillan underwent a successful operation at a Chicago hospital last week and is getting along nicely.

 

Miss Kate Bertschy of Milwaukee and Mrs. Hipke of Marshfield are visiting their brother, Fred Bertschy and family.
