Oberle, Marie T. DDS (25 MAR 1959 - 2010)

 

Marie T. Oberle, DDS, age 51, of Minnetonka, MN, has passed away.  She is survived by her husband, George Klemmer; mother, Sylvia Oberle; brothers: Ron (Marianne) and John (Cindy); sisters: Jane (Dan) Brandt, Elaine (Bill) Dooley, and Ann Oberle; nieces and nephews: Jason, Amelia, Tessa, Cullen, Briana, Luke, Mike, Matt, and Charles.  Marie is also survived by George’s family: mother, Patricia Klemmer; Karen Brooks, Jackie (Paul) Anderson, Corrine (Bill) Kaiser, Matt Kaiser, and Paul Klemmer.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Oberle, and father-in-law, Floyd Klemmer.

 

Marie was raised on a dairy farm in rural Thorp, WI. She graduated valedictorian from Thorp High School.  She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota.  She also earned her DDS from the University of Minnesota.  She spent her career as a dentist working most recently in Columbia Heights.  Marie loved literature, poetry, art, music, politics, travel, and jazz.

 

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, at the Church of St. Albert the Great in Minneapolis, MN.  Visitation was held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday at the church.  Interment was private.  Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
