Wilcox, Jeffrey G. (31 MAY 1961 - 7 JUL 2010)

 

GREENWOOD -- Jeffrey G. Wilcox, 49, of Greenwood, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, July 7, 2010.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Jeffrey George Wilcox was born May 31, 1961, in Milwaukee, to George H. and Mary L. (Kircher) Wilcox. He was raised along the North Shore of Milwaukee and attended Nicolet High School in Glendale. Jeff then enrolled in Milwaukee Area Technical College, where he studied small engine repair and auto mechanics, and also attended Waukesha County Technical College, where he received his certification in CNC machining.

Jeff was united in marriage Oct. 4, 1991 to Deborah L. Benavides in Waukesha. Jeff worked for Freedom Heating and Cooling in Thorp, where he was certified in HVAC, until the time of his death.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Deborah, of Greenwood; three children, Riley and Caleb Wilcox, both at home, and Chentel Huf of Mayville; three step-children, Matthew Benavides of Howell, Mich., Rebecca (Barney) Lemanski of Appleton, Rachel (Kurt) Stanich of Waukesha; two grandchildren; and three sisters: Tricia (David) Motte of Cedarburg, Wendy (Scott) Lees of Cedarburg, Amy (Steve) Henderson of Menomonie.
