Miss Rayona Ann Lilly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lilly, Fillmore, N.Y., became the bride of Donald Clair Booher, son of Rev. and Mrs. Carl J. Booher of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), during a 10:30 a.m. marriage ceremony Tuesday, May 30, at Grace Methodist Church, Greenwood.
The bridegroom’s father officiated at the nuptial service for which his mother was the organist and Miss Annette Booher was the pianist. The two played a piano-organ duet during the service.
The bride was attired in a white sand crepe and Chantilly lace gown and a short white silk illusion veil attached to a floral crown. She carried a small white Bible and bouquet of pink and white carnations and lilies of the valley.
Miss Marlene Johnson of Withee, maid of honor, had a pink and white corsage. Donald Lilly, Elk River, Minn., was best man and Steven Booher, Greenwood, was usher.
A noon luncheon to the immediate family and wedding party was held at the groom’s parental home. On June 3 a reception was held at the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Fillmore, N.Y. After June 15 the couple will be living in Omaha, Neb., at 616 31st Ave.
The new matron is an April 1867 graduate of Humbolt Institute, Minneapolis, Minn. Her husband attended North Central Bible College, Minneapolis, Minn., for two years and is continuing his studies at the University of Omaha.
