Kocher, Anna B.M. #2 (10 OCT 1887 - 11 OCT 1966)

 

Mrs. Frederick Kocher, 78, Milwaukee, a former Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, died following surgery at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 1966, in St. Joseph’s Hospital at Milwaukee where she had been a patient for nine days.

 

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood with the Rev. Carl Booher, pastor of the Grace Methodist Church, Greenwood, officiating.  Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

 

The former Ann Bertha Marie Picker was born Oct. 10, 1887 at Wauwatosa and was married there Feb. 5, 1910, to Frederick A. Kocher, who preceded her in death May 30, 1961.

 

Shortly after their marriage the couple came to the Greenwood area where they farmed for 38 years.  After retiring in 1958 they moved to the city of Greenwood, where they lived until 1958?.  Since then they had made their home with their son, Ralph and family in Milwaukee.

 

Survivors are four sons, Ralph, James and Herbert Kocher, Milwaukee; and Donald, greenwood, a brother, Arthur Picker, Milwaukee, and 14 grandchildren.
