Owen (Boy Scouts - June 1929)

The Owen Boy Scouts are enjoying a week’s camping at the old Withee home, just east of the Clark County Asylum, and there are about 20 of them in camp this year.  They are spending their time in playing ball, fishing, swimming, and taking long hikes in the woods.  Tuesday evening, several of the parents of the boys attended their evening meeting, at which stunts were pulled and games played. Scout order is maintained during the day as well as in the evening, and the boys are having an excellent vacation.  Liberal donations from Owen men made this camping trip possible. - Owen Enterprise.
